What is LifeHouse?

Seed Two Harvest is a social enterprise initiative launched by LifeHouse of Houston, Inc.

LifeHouse is a Christ-centered ministry ensuring life for unborn children by providing housing, help, and hope for women during their pregnancies and beyond. The ministry currently operates three residential homes for abortion-vulnerable women as young as twelve years old. All residents benefit from cost-free lodging, meals, pre-natal care, life skills training, counseling, access to work/school, and discipleship from loving house parents.

LifeHouse deeply desires to walk alongside women long after they give birth. LifeHouse launched its outreach ministry, LifeLine, in 2017 to minister to former residents through individual case management, monthly alumnae gatherings, and weekly home visits. The ministry has also dedicated two homes to long-term residential aftercare that extends for up to 14 months after a resident’s baby is born.

Seed Two Harvest

Seed Two Harvest is the most recent initiative launched by LifeHouse to continue to support new moms and their babies. Seed Two Harvest was born with the intention of hiring current and former LifeHouse residents and preparing them for independent living. Ultimately, Seed Two Harvest desires to break the generational cycle of poverty and homelessness for our residents and their children and empower employees to achieve self-sustainable living.
